About Me

I've been designing and building websites and Flash applications since 1997. During the 13 years of my career I have been involved in well over 100 website projects for clients of all kinds across the country.

My educational background is in Telecommunications (with a focus on Advertising) and also in Fine Arts. Since the beginning of my web design career I’ve worked very hard to develop and sharpen my programming skills and have become a skilled front-end and backend-end programmer (in ASP.NET and SQL Server).

Over the years I have also gained other skills in addition to design and programming, including project management, online marketing and general internet consulting. I often manage several projects simultaneously as the primary contact person. Frequently I am asked to help clients plan out, brand and strategize new websites and online ventures long before the first pixel is laid down or the first line of code is written. And many website launches are then followed up with SEO campaigns, marketing and results analysis, where I continue to aid my clients efforts. While project management and consulting skills are useful and important in their own rights, I feel additionally, they have made me a better designer and programmer as well because they have given me a deeper and wider understanding of the entire process.

During my career I've been fortunate to live and work in many interesting parts of the country including San Francisco, Los Angeles, Brooklyn, NY and now the Philadelphia area. I currently run a web design company called EarthSky Studios with my wife and fellow web designer, Melissa. I’m available to work on projects either as a freelancer or through EarthSky Studios.
